Salaries and stipends for all GenerationNext!
staff and running costs are donated by the law firm McAllister Olivarius.
The firm also fully subsidises services of its employees who assist with the
charity’s work.

Emily Speak
Emily Speak is a graduate of Yale College (‘05) where she received a BA in
American Studies concentrating in Urban Studies. Focused on public health issues,
Ms Speak worked for Student Health OUTreach in New Haven, Connecticut for three
years and more recently was a consultant for the Kids Come First Clinic in
Ontario, California. Since graduating from Yale, Ms Speak has worked at the
American Red Cross in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in Mississippi in the aftermath
of Hurricane Katrina, and the United Way in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
She subsequently served as Deputy Director for
GenerationNext! and, since joining
McAllister Olivarius as Practice Manager and
Senior Legal Assistant, she continues to work extensively with the charity and to
oversee all staff at
McAllister Olivarius with
regard to their assignments on GenerationNext!
projects.

Hilary Szymujko
Hilary Szymujko graduated from Yale College in 2007 with a BA in American Studies,
concentrating in Cultural History. Ms Szymujko’s interest in women’s studies and
social work led her to work with the Interact Club, a division of Rotary
International Service, and the Yale Chapter of Women and Youth Supporting Each
Other (WYSE). Through WYSE, she mentored young, disadvantaged women on issues of
mental and physical health, sexual education, career and education options.
Ms Szymujko balanced her interest in American social policy and service with
experience working internationally in Germany and the United Kingdom. Since
graduating from Yale, Ms Szymujko has worked as a Legal Assistant at
McAllister Olivarius and manages all firm
cases involving charitable organisations.
